Happy New Year

We wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! 2012 is going to bring so much excitement to so many people we are lucky enough to call family and friends.

We turned in the keys to our rental here in Kansas last night, and then went out and had a little too much fun with our friends here in Manhattan. Needless to say, I am having a VERY low key day. It's a bit surreal to know we are getting ready to bid Manhattan farewell on Tuesday. We have met so many great people here that took us in as their own. We will be eternally grateful for that!

We had a nightmare week with the movers last week, but we are glad we are finally done with that phase of our adventure for a while. Our movers decided to roll our hot tub through our yard like a tire, over exposed limestone. Needless to say, it's destroyed, but we will worry about that in 3 years I guess. It has all been documented with the transportation office, but still pretty aggravating.

We are staying in a hotel for the next 2 nights, and then get on our plane Tuesday morning. The weather is looking like it is going to cooperate for the dogs to travel, so that is a huge relief. Wish us luck, and we will check in along the way. . .
